The substrate is produced from a blend of high-quality black and white peat with added silica sand. It is used for sowing conifers in containers, polytunnels, and garden beds. Once the seeds have germinated, it is necessary to apply a multi-component mineral fertilizer containing trace elements, according to the plants' needs.
The substrate is suitable for the broadcast sowing of conifers. A higher content of black peat with a humus component is suitable for sowing spruce and fir in polytunnels.
